The year is 2050. Humans now live in massive Sky-cities. Artificial mechanical lifeforms known as Archivists monitor and collect data on every individual every moment, digitally capturing the population’s memories and dreams. They were created and integrated into our new society to systematically maintain order and progress - a fail-safe to prevent future global conflicts, like the last war that devastated the planet and drove Man from the Earth's surface, and forced him to build a new sanctuary in the skies.

The Archivists store our memories and dreams, abstracting the imagery into a visual form of music that can be archived, restored and projected.

This is the story of the dawn of a new era for mankind, told through the eyes of one Archivist. It is a portrait of life in the future in the Sky-cities, where humans are seeking a new beginning, building a new artificial, technological sanctuary in the heavens. Having been displaced from their dying world on the Earth’s surface, they have abandoned hope that the natural environment, their natural home will ever recover, and decided that technological evolution was their only hope for survival.

PROMEMORIA is a sequel to LAND with NO SUN, Tze n Looking Glass' highly successful concert. It continues to explore themes and issues affecting our world today and tomorrow through the LAND with NO SUN universe - from the loss of natural environments and biodiversity, threat of artificial intelligence, the impact of digital survelliance on the way we live, to Man’s obsession with Machine.

A uniqe solo piano concert of original (music + sound design), it is an audio-cinematic journey that pushes the boundaries of piano music, featuring works that combine jazz, film score, world, classical music and inspired by anime and video game soundtracks.
